Expression of Tumor-associated Antigen in Urothelial Carcinoma in Different Pathological Grades

Abstract
Objective To detect the expressions of tumor -associated antigen ( TAA ) in human urothelial carcinoma tissues by immunohistochemistry. Methods Immunohistochemical elivision was used to detect TAA expression in urothelial carcinoma tissues in 2 chips. The expressions and positive rates were compared between urothelial carcinoma tissues in different pathological grades. Results The positive staining of TAA was mainly located in cell membrane. The total positive expression rate of 116 human urothelial carcinoma tissues was 56. 9％ ( 66/116 ). There was no significant difference in TAA expression in urothelial carcinoma tissues in different pathological grades ( P ＞0. 05 ). TAA positive expression rates were G1 50. 0％ ( 7/ 14), G2 53. 6％ (22/41), G3 60. 7％ (37/61), respectively, there was no difference ( P＞0. 05 ). Conclusion TAA expression and positive rate in urothelial carcinoma tissues are not related to tumor pathological grading. Tissue microarray technology is efficient and rapid in detecting TAA expressions in urothelial carcinoma tissues.关键词
