摘要
Abstract
Helicobacter pylori (Hp) can cause gastritis, peptic ulcer and gastric cancer.There has been increasing evidence that the prevalence of Hp infection may be increased in patients with stroke that is due to atherosclerosis.Several pathogenic mechanisms could help to explain this association.Inflammatory response and metabolic disorder induced by Hp may promote atherosclerotic process.This article reviews biological characteristics and pathogenic mechanism of association between Hp infection and atherosclerosis.关键词
