Abstract
Objective To analyze the feasibility and safety of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy for patients with advanced cervical cancer.Methods Eighty-four patients with advanced cervical cancer were enrolled and divided into treatment group( n=40) and control group(n =44).The patients in treatment group received neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy while those in control group received neoadjuvant chemotherapy only.The feasibility and safety of two treatment methods were evaluated after the therapy finished.Results The results showed that neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy was safe and feasible for patients with advanced cervical cancer, the curative rate amounting to 95 ％ , markedly different from that in control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with radiotherapy is effective with tolerable toxicities in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer.关键词
