新风胶囊对佐剂性关节炎大鼠心功能及血清和心肌脑利钠肽的影响
Effects of Xinfeng Capsules on Heart Function and Serum and Myocardial Brain Natriuretic Peptides in Rats with Adjuvant Arthritis

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Xinfeng Capsules (XFC), a traditional Chinese prescription for invigorating spleen-qi, dissipating dampness and removing obstacles from collaterals, on heart function and serum and myocardial brain natriuretic peptides (BNP) in rats with adjuvant arthritis (AA). Methods Sixty rats were averagely randomized into control group, model control group, methotrexatc (MTX) treated group, Triptcrygium glycosides Tablet (TGT) treated group, and XFC treated group. Except for rats in normal control group, other rats were induced to AA model by intradermally injecting Freund's complete adjuvant into the right paw. Nineteen days after inducing AA model, rats in normal control group and model control group were administered with normal saline, and rats in the remaining three groups were treated with MTX, TGT, and XFC, respcctively. The swelling degree of voix pedis, arthritis index (AI), heart function, serum levels of BNP and the expression of myocardial BNP mRNA were observed in rats of each group. Results (1) Compared with those in normal control group, heart rate (HR), heart index (HI), left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP) increased significantly (P<0.05) in model control group, while the maximum rate of left ventricular pressure of development or decline (±dp/dtmax) decreased significantly (P<0.05). Compared with those in model control group, HI, LVSP and LVEDP decreased significantly (P<0.05, or P<0.01) in XFC treatcd group, while ± dp/dtmax increased significantly (P<0.05, or P<0.01 ). Compared with thosc in MTX treated group, LVSP and LVEDP significantly decreased (P<0.05), and +dp/dtmax increased significantly in XFC treated group (P<0. 05). (2) Compared with those in normal control group, the scrum levels of BNP and the expression levels of myocardial BNP mRNA increased significantly in modcl control group (P<0. 05, or P<0. 01).Compared with those in model control group, the serum levels of BNP significantly decreased in all treated groups (P<0.05), while the expression levels of myocardial BNP mRNA significantly decreased only in TGT treated group (P<0. 05). Conclusion The heart function of AA rats is decreased by some degrees. XFC can ameliorate the swelling of voix pedis, and AI as well as improve the heart function, which may be related with protective effects on cardiocytes by reducing the serum levels of BNP, and inhibiting the expression of myocardial BNP.关键词
