Abstract
Objective:To review the experience of endovascular treatment for cranial venous sinus thrombosis(CVST). Methods: Endovascular treatment was performed in 20 patients with CVST. The symptoms, physical signs and imaging were documented. Results: Of the 20 patients after endovascular treatment, sixteen had completed recanalization and three had partial recanalization. One case remained unchanged. Ten patients experienced complete recovery or with mild neurologic symptoms. Six patients improved partially. No symptomatic improvements was documented in 3 cases. Unfortunately, one case showed aggravating symptoms and intracranial petechial hemorrhage was evident on computerized tomography. Conclusion: Endovascular treatment for intracranial venous thrombosis is relative safe and feasible. However, the long-term effectiveness requires further investigation.关键词
