摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of polysaccharides from Yu-Ping-Feng powder(YPF-P) on chemical liver injury induced by D-Gal in mice. Methods The model of mice chemical liver injury was induced by D-Gal on day 7 after treatment with YPF-P. The levels of alanine aminotransferase ( ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum and the contents of malondiadehyde ( MDA ), glutathione ( GSH ) , superoxide dismutase ( SOD ) in liver homogenate were measured by using of spectrophotometers. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of TNF-α in hepatic tissue. Hepatic pathological examination was observed. Results YPF-P significantly decreased the serum transaminase levels, decreased MDA content and enhanced SOD and GSH levels in liver homogenate. YPF-P also inhibited the expression of TNF-α and reduced the pathological damage in liver. Conclusion YPF-P has protective effects on chemical liver injury in mice. It may associate with the enhancement of antioxidant ability.
