摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of vitamin C in type 2 diabetes mellitus with memory impairment.Methods All patients involved were divided into two groups: the control group ( patients were administrated with traditional treatment, including diet modification, proper exercise, reasonable choices of metformin and/or sulfonylurea ) and the treatment group( patients were administrated with vitamin C 0.2g, 3 times a day additionally ).The MMSE and MoCA tests were performed before and after 1 year treatment.Results The MMSE and MoCA scores( except attention in control group )were improved in both the treatment group and control group( P ＜ 0.05 ), and the results were more obviously in treatment group ( except of ability of spatial localization, P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusion As a kind of antioxidant, the vitamin C could improved the memory impairment in elderly type 2 diabetes patients.关键词
