Abstract
Objective TCP and NTCP models were computed through computer programming and used for comparative analysis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) radiotherapy. Methods TCP and NTCP models were computed with Matlab. The treatment plans of 40 NPC patients treated by radiotherapy during 2006 and 2008 were selected and their TCP and NTCP were computed and analyzed. Results The statistic results of TCP were no difference between conventional radiotherapy and 3D conformal radiotherapy, while the results of NTCP of brainstem and parotid were significant difference between the two techniques, especially the results of parotid. Conclusion TCP and NTCP model can be used to evaluate the radiotherapy plan effectively.关键词
