The Effects of Terfenadine Derivatives with Different Structures on Apoptosis in Tca-8113 Cells

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of terfenadine derivatives with different structures on apoptosis in Tca-8113 cells. Methods Hoechst33258 stain and AO/EB stain were used to measure the apoptosis in Tca-8113 cells cultured with different compounds for 24 h. Results All four terfenadine derivatives ( n-propyl, allyl, bromideand vinyl) induced tumor cells apoptosis. The apoptosis rate measured by Hoechst33258 stain were (35.20±3.50)% , (59.69±4.70)% , (44.55± 4.20)% and (56.32±5.10)% , respectively. The apoptosis rate measured by AO/EB stain were(55. 14±9. 70)% ,(88. 23± 11.80) % , ( 72.47 ±9. 30) % and (92.46± 13. 10) % , respectively. Conclusion All four different terfenadine derivatives promote apoptosis of Tca-8113 cells. The compounds with alkenyl structure have shown more significant pro-apoptosis effects, which may be related to an increase in the number of unsaturated bonds.关键词
