Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the role of surgery in treatment of high risk gestational trophohlastic neoplasia. Methods : A total of 25 cases of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia treated by chemotherapy and surgery from January 2000 to August 2010 at our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results : Among the 25 cases, 13 cases received subradical hysterectomy and bilateral adnexectomy,2 cases received hysterectomy. Resectjon of metastatic tumors of the uterus and other organs were performed in the other 10 cases. 2 cases were lost to follow-up and the other 23 cases had complete remission. The complete response rate was 92％ and the average course of chemotherapy treatment was 5. 8. Conclusions : Although chemotherapy remains to play a leading role in treatment of patjents with gestalional Lrophoblastic neoplasia , selected surgery combined with chemotherapy also play an important role in high-risk cases to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy with a increasing cure rate.关键词
