摘要
Abstract
Older patients often have multiple chronic diseases and various levels of functional impairment. As such,comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) is critically important in this patient population. In addition to traditional disease-screening and management, CGA aims to evaluate the physical function, mental health, psychological and behavioral status,and socioeconomic and environmental factors. Based on the information obtained from comprehensive evaluation,we can develop appropriate and practical intervention strategies, so as to improve and maintain functional independence and quality of life for the elderly.关键词
