Abstract
Objective To determine the spectrum and drug resistance of no - pseudomonas aeruginosa in respiratory intensive care unit ( RICU ), and to provide basis for proper use of antibiotics and prevent and control infection in the hospital. Methods The data on drug resistance of no - Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from the RICU in our hospital from 2004 to 2008 was retrospectively analyzed. Results Totally 108 strains of no-Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated, of which 66 were Stenotrophomonas maltophilia strains ( 66. 11% ), 29 were Burkholderia cepacia strains ( 26. 85% ). Sputum was the main source of no-Pseudomonas aeruginosa ( 96. 30% , 104 /108 ). The results of drug susceptibility showed that the resistance rate of no - Pseudomonas aeruginosa to most drugs were high; the resistance rates of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia to minocycline, gatifloxacin and levofloxacin were low, being 3. 45% , 29. 63% and 33. 33% respectively; the resistance rates of Burkholderia cepacia to meropenem and piperacillin/tazobactam were lowest, being 24. 00% and 28. 57% respectively. Conclusion The most common strains of no-Pseudomonas aeruginosa are Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and Burkholderia cepacia, and the most common site of infection is lower respiratory tract. The no - Pseudomonas aeruginosa shows high and multiple drug resistance, so clinical treatment of no-Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection should be based on the results of the drug susceptibility tests.关键词
