Abstract
Objective To investigate serum sex hormone and lipids change and its significance in postmenopausal women with coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods In 35 postmenopausal women with CHD and 33 normal subjects, the levels of E2,P, FSH,PRL,LH, TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C were measured and compared. Results Compared with control group, the serum level of E2 in postmenopausal women with CHD decreased significantly ( P＜ 0.05 ), levels of serum TC, TG and LDL-C increased significantly ( P＜0.05 or P＜0.01 ), while HDL-C decreased significantly ( P＜ 0.01 ). Conclusion The increase of serum lipids are closely related to the decrease of serum E2 in postmenopausal women with CHD, and they are involve in the genesis and progression of CHD in postmenopausal women.关键词
