2种橡皮圈在人工唾液条件下力值衰减的对比研究
Investigation of Force Decay of Superslick Modules and Regular Modules in Artificial Saliva

Abstract
Objective The objective of this study was to examine and compare the force decay of Superslick modules with that of regular uncoated modules in artificial saliva(0 hour, 1 hour, 24 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks,6 weeks). Methods Superslick modules and regular uncoated modules made by the same factory with identical inside diameter, outside diameter, and thickness were selected. Simulated Superslick modules and regular uncoated modules Iigated in the MBTTM pre-adjusted brackets, the force decays were tested by the lnstron Universal Testing Machine at eight different time points under artificial saliva condition. Results The force decay of Superslick modules and regular modules was 22.04% and 30.30% respectively in the first I hours. The rapid force decay occurred in the first 1 hour and then the decrease became slower and slower in the following week until at last it gradually get steady with no obvious changes. There was no significant difference in force decay between Superslick modules and regular uncoated modules in different times in artificial saliva. Conclusion Simulated Superslick modules and regular uncoated modules ligated in the MBTTM pre-adjusted brackets, the pattern was similar in force decay between Superslick modules and regular uncoated modules in different time points in artificial saliva.关键词
