一种带宽自适应P2P视频点播数据调度策略
Bandwidth Adaptive Data Schedule Strategy in P2P VoD
摘要
Abstract
In Peer-to-Peer(P2P) Video-on-Demand(VoD) system, the nodes usually have quite different service capabilities. How to make full use of various types of nodes' capacity is a problem worth studying. From the amount of data requested point of view, this paper proposes a Bandwidth Adaptive Schedule(BAS) strategy to enhance the usage of peers' bandwidth. When peer detects it has additional downlink bandwidth, it performs additional schedule to peers who have additional uplink bandwidth. By this, data pieces can spread more quickly in the system so that the bandwidth pressure of the server can be reduced. Simulation experimental result shows that the stratgy improves the overall performance of P2P VoD system.关键词
