摘要

Abstract

Compressive strength and elastic modulus of concrete can increase with age. However, compared with compressive strength, little research on increasing of elastic modulus with age is found. In this paper, a four phase sphere model was built up based on the two phase sphere model and the three phase model by considering interfacial transition zone (ITZ). The model can describe the effect of ITZ on the development of elastics modulus of concrete. The results of parameter analysis show the following parameters have an important effect on the development of elastics modulus: a. aggregate volume fraction, b. aggregate size, c. the effect of ITZ.
