摘要
Abstract
The available bandwidth is one of hot topics in computer network research all the time. However, the measurement of it is constrained by several conditions. This paper bases on the popular techniques of end to end measurement for available bandwidth named SLoPS. It presents an improving algorithm of evaluating network capacity, which keep away from unnecessary iterations among the procedure. Users can shorten the whole measurement procedure to some degree, and will reduce the passive effects that some unreliable conditions lead to for the results of examines by this way. The experiment shows that results from optimization design are more precise than the original measurement stems from pathload. Meanwhile fluctuation of response parameters is also declined which enhances the stability of results.关键词
