Abstract
The corrosion resistances of passive film formed on the galvanized steel by the solution of single bis-(3(triethoxysilyl) propyl)tetrasulfide (BTESPT), BTESPT added cerium ion and pre-treated by γ-APS were studied by polarization curve and alternating current impedance tests. The results show that the corrosion protection of the film can be improved by adding cerium nitrate to the silane solutions which can block small defects and cracks in the film by trivalence and quadrivalence cerium oxide formed in the film. In particular, the composite film pre-treated by γ-APS shows more effective corrosion protection by increasing the film compactness.关键词
