Abstract

Based on analysing the theoretical modeling data of acoustic reflection characteristics of CMP(Common Middle Point) gathers, and focused on is the high-resolution stacking techniques for the acoustic reflected wave data processing. These analyses show that during NMO(Normal Moveout)operation, the dynamic stretching is only significant for the data with large offset and therefore it needs not to be consided in acoustic reflection logging. On the other hand, analyzed are affect of different velocities on NMO and the stacking effect, the results from which show that velocity is key factor to inphase axes non-phase during stacking. At last, used is the STC method for determining vertical velocity in full-wave acoustic logging, and established are the suitable NMO model and vertical stacking technology with variable weight to ensure a higher resolution of the stacking. Applications of this method to the numerical modeling data and the field data show satisfactory results.
