Abstract
Objective To perform a systematic evaluation of the whitening effects by applying the Beyond cool light whitening kit in clinic therapy. Methods Papers published till Oct 2010 related to the effects of the Beyond cool light whitening kit in China National Knowledge Infrastructure and VIP database were systematically searched. Meta analysis using the generic inverse variance model was done on the searching result filtered with certain criteria for inclusion.Results Twenty-one papers were included. The weighted markedly effective rate with number of teeth as experimental unit is 81.30％ (95％ Cl:58.75～76.05). The weighted markedly effective rate with number of patients as experimental unit is 66.84％ (95％Cl:58.75 ～ 76.05). Conclusion The Beyond cool light whitening kit was proved to be an effective method on teeth whitening.关键词
