Abstract
Objective: To observe the valsartan assisted the clinical efficacy of treatment for essential hypertension. Method: From January 2006 to December 2009, 216 cases of primary hypertension treated in our Hospital were randomly divided into two groups ( valsartan adjuvant therapy ） and control group （ conventional treatment group ） each with 108 cases, treatment cycle lasted 8 weeks, the curative effects were observed and compared. Result: 64 cases were excellent, effective in 38 cases, total effective rate was 94.5％; In control group, 47 cases was markedly effective, effective in 41 cases, total effective rate was 81.4％. There's significant difference between the two groups （ P ＜0.01 ）. In the 8-week course of treatment,two patients had serious adverse reactions, adverse events rate between the two groups no significant difference （ P＞ 0.05 ）, not statistically significant. Conclusion: Valsartan adjuvant treatment of primary ·hypertension can significantly improve the treatment effect, It is worthy of clinical use.关键词
