木粉/TEOS杂化材料制备SiC木材陶瓷的研究
Study on Preparation of SiC Woodceramics from Wood/TEOS Hybrid Materials

Abstract
Wood/TEOS hybrid material was prepared by sol-gel method using TEOS and china fir powder as raw materials. SiC woodceramics were prepared from hybrid material through sintering at lower temperature. Thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscope and scanning electron microscopy were employed to characterize the phase transformation and structural changes during the conversion of hybrid material into SiC woodceramics. Apparent porosity were measured by Archimend's law, and the tribology performance was investigated as function of sintering temperature and weight percent gain of hybrid material. The results show that the weight loss gain of wood/TEOS hybrid material is 20% at 800 ℃, so it is an ideal medium of SiC ceramics. The Si-O-C structure of hybrid material can changed into SiC in reaction sintering at 1000 ℃. The resulting SiC ceramics is composed of major crystal phaseβ-SiC and SiOn and has porous topology microstructure similar to wood. Apparent porosity is increased then reduced with the increase of sintering temperature and the decreasing in weight percent gain of hybrid material. The wearability of wood ceramics improved dramatically when weight percent gain and sintering temperature increased, especially for the sintering temperature between 1000 ℃ and 1200 ℃.关键词
