摘要

Abstract

Objective To establish the animal model of diabetic rats with fluctuant high blood glucose and observe the effects of fluctuant high blood glucose on liver in diabetic rats. Methods Twenty-four SD rats were divided into 3 groups, including control group (group A), stable high blood glucose group (group B) and fluctuant high blood glucose group (group C). Diabetes mellitus model was induced by an intraperitoneal injection of STZ at a dose of 65 mg/kg body weight in group B and group C. Fluctuant high blood glucose model in group C was induced by intraperitoneal injection of insulin and glucose at different time points every day. Liver index, the levels of serum AST and ALT were determined and hepatic ultrastructure was observed in all groups after 12 weeks. Results Liver index and the levels of serum AST and ALT in group B and group C were obviously increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01) in comparison with group A. Alterations of ultrastructure was more obvious in group B and group C than that in group A. Liver index and the levels of serum AST and ALT were greater in group C than those in group B (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Uhrastructure damage was more severe in group C than that in group B. Conclusion Obviously injury in liver in diabetic rats occurs in 12 weeks. Fluctuant high blood glucose aggravates the injury of the liver in diabetic rats.
