Abstract
UV graft modification of linen fabric was used to improve linen dyeability to get the better tone-in-tone dyeing result. The effects of shielding materials, UV irradiation time, UV source wavelength, monomer mass fraction and photoinitiator amount on dye uptake were studied. The linen fabrics before and after grafting were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy. The results showed that acrylic acid was grafted onto linen fabrics. The hardboard was a suitable shielding material. At UV light source wavelength of 365 nm, UV irradiation time of 3 min,photoinitiator amount of 2%(o. w. m. ) and acrylic acid mass fraction of 60%, the dyeing result was satisfactory and significant tone-in-tone dyeing effect was obtained.关键词
