Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the feasibility and clinical application of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 22 patients who underwent the single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy were retrospectively analyzed. The procedure was performed with the aid of lithoclast probes which were placed at the right upper abdomen. Results: Nineteen cases of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy were successfully performed. The operative time was 35-125min ( average 52min). Three patients were converted to 3-port laparoscopy due to unclearly exposed or difficultly dissected gallbladder. No complications were found in all cases. Conclusions:Transumbilical single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy with the aid of lithoclast probes is a safe and feasible operation. More importanTLy, it has the advantages of better cosmesis and fewer traumas. However, the performance of this operation is difficult,so the patients should be carefully selected in the elementary stage of carrying out this operation.关键词
