Expression of ABCG2 and CD133 protein in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue
摘要
Abstract
Aim:To investigate the protein expressions of ABCG2 and CD133 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissue. Methods:The protein expressions of ABCG2 and CD133 in 48 cases of HCC and normal tissues were detected using immunohistochemistry methods. ResultS:The positive expression rate of ABCG2 protein in HCC tissue[47. 9% (23/48) ] was significantly higher than that of the tumor-adjacent tissue[22. 9% ( 11/48) ] (X2 = 10. 083, P <0. 001 ). The positive expression of ABCG2 protein was associated with differentiation degree (X2 =5. 298, P = 0. 021) , capsule violation(X2 = 15.068, P<0.001), and portal vein thrombosis (X2 =17. 146,P <0.001). The positive expression rate of CD133 in HCC tissue (27. 1% ) was significantly higher than that of the tumor-adjacent tissue(0% ) (X2 = 11.077,P <0.001). The positive expression of CD133 protein was associated with differentiation degree (X2 =6.553, P =0.010), capsule violation (X2 = 24. 382, P < 0. 001) , and portal vein thrombosis(X2 = 16.032, P < 0. 001) . Conclusion: The abnormal expression of ABCG2 and CD133 protein may be involved in the development,invasion and metastasis of HCC.关键词
