Abstract

The CO2 corrosion behavior of stainless steel welding joint in clad pipe internal surface was studied by adopting high temperature high pressure autoclave in the simulated CO2 corrosion environment. The results indicated that the corrosion product film of welding joint was more and more much with corrosion temperature increasing;when the temperature was at 95℃ ,the corrosion product film maybe fall off, and corrosion rate increased with temperature increasing. The corrosion product may be admixture of FeCO3and Cr2 03 according to the EDS analysis results. After removing the corrosion product film, the surface of the welding joint was uniform and bright, no local or pitting corrosion was observed. Hence, the CO2 corrosion course of welding joint was uniform corrosion.
