摘要

Abstract

Urban is the most densely populated areas, grasping the spatial distribution of urban population timely and accurately is the key to resolve different problems in the city. In this paper, taking Beibei District as an example, urban land use classification system what applies to high-resolution simulation of urban population density was built through using high resolution QuickBird imagery and under the support of GIS technology. In addition, through making use of field survey data and interpretation results to build the day-time spatial distribution model of urban population and transform the research results to grid format, which realized the high-resolution of the urban population density simulation.
