Improving removal of fine particles from wet-process desulfurized flue gas by heterogeneous condensation

摘要

Abstract

The influences of demister species, characteristics of desulfurized flue gas, the addition amount of water vapor and spraying cold water above the demister on the fine particles removal were investigated in a wet limestone-based process combining heterogenous condensation of steam. The results show that removal efficiency of fine panicle can be significantly improved by adding steam into the wet desulfurized flue gas. And the removal efficiency increases with the amount of steam added. The wire mesh demister is more suitable to the removal of the grown fine particles than the wave-plate demister. The characteristics of desulfurized flue gas, such as temperature, moisture content and fine panicle concentration, have a remarkable influence on the removal of fine particles.Due to the adherence of fly ash to the inner wall of the condensation chamber, the influence of surface characteristics of the condensation chamber is not obvious. Additionally, the removal effect can be improved by spraying cold water above the demister while adding steam, which can make an increase of removal efficiency from about 30% to more than 60%.
