摘要

Abstract

The macro-performance of material is closely related to the micro-structure. As a cutting-edge testing technology, nanoindentation enables the acquisition of intrinsic mechanical properties of phases in the micro-structure of cement-based materials. The basic principle of nanoindentation, and the sampling of cement-based materials and the determination of a proper testing regime were summarized. Besides, recent work was represented, and some existing problems, especially quantitative analysis, were discussed.Combining nanoindentation with other advanced techniques could favor the regulation of the macro-behaviors of material and reveal the physical and chemical properties of C-S-H gel at nano-scale.
