摘要

Abstract

The squalene epoxidase (SE) gene from Aralia elata (AeSE) was amplified by RT-PCR.The result showed that the full-length cDNA of AeSE gene (GenBank accession Number: GU354314) is 1 682 bp and contains a 1 644 bp open reading frame (ORF) encoding a polypeptide of 547 amino acids.The SE proteins from Aralia elata, Panax ginseng, Panax notoginseng and Gynostemma pentaphyllum showed more than 90% identities based on amino acid sequences alignment. The plant expression vector pCAMBIA 3301 - AeSE was constructed.
