摘要

Abstract

Damage detection of beams is the most essential and representative work in damage identification of structures. The parameters on the basis of eigenfrequency are determined and it is also proved that those parameters are only related to the damage location instead of the damage state. Then a general frequency data warehouse for the damage location of cantilever beams is established. After that, numerical examples and specific experiments are taken to testify the effectiveness, validity and accuracy of the frequency index for damage detection of cantilever beam. Finally, this practical theory would provide convenience in practical engineering application.
