摘要

Abstract

The axial ratio of the ellipse with same normalized second-order central moments was takend as the eigenvalue of plasma spray jet morphologic characteristic. The method that reflects the jet temperature, velocity and related process parameters using the eigenvalue was developed. In the experiment, the computer vision and image processing technology was used to study the relationship between eigenvalues and the powder and the newly emerging liquid plasma spray process parameters.The result indicates that with the spraying power increases, the jet eigenvalues become greater. But the liquid spray jet eigenvalue was less than the powder spray. With the Ar gas flow rate increases,the jet eigenvalues don't increase but decrease. Based on it, the relationship between jet eigenvalues and spray process energy parameters was found, which can provide firm basis for the forming quality online predict and control.
