Design of Brake System and Development of Performance Analysis Software for Off-road Vehicles
摘要
Abstract
At present, most of software about braking system has been focused on two-axle vehicle, and its calculation method was relatively simple and never involved off-road vehicle. To solve the problems and overcome the shortcomings, a design of brake system and performance analysis software for off-road vehicles was developed based on VB and Matlab. In this paper, calculation, analysis and evaluation methods of braking performance for multi-axle vehicle were proposed and studied, and typical methods were given and used in majority of computing projects. Finally, as an example, type-selection, calculation and verification were carried out for a three-axle off-road vehicle. The result shows that the software is easy to operate, reliable to calculate, and can be widely used in the design of braking system, analysis and evaluation of braking performance for off-road vehicles.关键词
