摘要

Abstract

To research the applicability of the domestic epoxy asphalt concrete (DEAC) with diabase aggregates in steel deck pavement projects, the strength, high temperature stability, water stability and anti-slide performances of DEAC mixed with diabase were tested by systematic laboratory experiments and compared with the performance of basalt mixture.Meanwhile, economy of two epoxy asphalt mixtures was evaluated by calculating the initial construction costs of the mixtures.The results showed that the two mixtures had close properties, while the high temperature stability and anti-slide performance of the diabase mixture was a little superior to the basalt one.It was also concluded that using diabase aggregates could save approximately 25% of the initial investment.
