Abstract
Objective To study the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on fatigue and quality of life of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods A total of 246 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were selected in our hospital from February 2008 to May 2009. All the patients received the comprehensive care intervention based on the conventional nursing. The Visual Analogue Score (VAS), Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) , and the Chinese version of 36 - Item Short Form Health Survey ( SF - 36) were used to investigate the changes in the patients' fatigue level and quality of life before and after intervention. Results After 1 - month intervention, the fatigue level was reduced significantly (P ＜ 0.01 ), the functional status was improved ( P ＜0.01 ), and the quality of life was also improved ( P ＜ 0.01 ). Conclusion The comprehensive care interventions can relieve fatigue of patients with rheumatoid arthritis as well as improve their life quality.关键词
