摘要
Abstract
Objective: To report a case of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor in the parapharyngeal space. Methods:The clinical data of the case was analysed and the related literatures were reviewed. Results: Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is a mesenchymal neoplasm composed of transformed myofibroblastic spindle cells with a large number of plasmacytes and (or) lymphocytes. The immunohistochenistry of vimentin, SMA expression often showed intensively positive. Conclusion: Parapharyngeal inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is a rare tumor. The differential diagnosis of IMT dependes on pathohistology and the radical surgery is the best choice of treatment.关键词
