摘要

Abstract

The whole process of destabilization and failure of cohesive homogenous soil slope is simulated using particle flow method.It is unnecessary to assume the constitutive relation of material and the position and shape of slope sliding surface.The micro contact relation between particles can be defined directly.Through simulation of biaxial test, the macro and micro soil parameters are integrated to analyze the failure mechanism of soil slope from micro aspect.It is indicated that when bonding strength reduces to a certain degree, soil slope is destabilized.Upper crack, central shear and bottom compaction are the common failure modes of soil slope due to insufficient strength.
