摘要

Abstract

T0he harmonic and Stray wave is produced easily. which make the performance of microstrip patch antenna to reduce.The dumbbell-shaped defected ground structure and the fractal defected ground structure are applied to patch antenna. The results of calculation and measurements show that the defected ground structure not only suppress the hannonic and stray wave, hut also reduce the cross-polarization level The fractal defected ground structure not only improves the performance of antenna better, but also uses the area of ground more efficiently than the dumbbelI defected ground structure.
