Error Estimation for Convection-diffusion Equation by the Discontinuous Space-time Finite Element Method
摘要
Abstract
The space-time finite element method, continuous in space but discontinuous in time for a linear convection-diffusion equation is investigated. The approach is based on a combination of finite element and finite difference techniques, taking full advantage of the properties of Lagrange interpolationg polynomials at the Radau points in each time slab. The optimal-order error estimate in L∞ (L2) norm is presented.关键词
