摘要

Abstract

A series of arylaminomethyl phenols were prepared by "one-pot" process and fractional step methods using salicylaldehyde or 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and substituted anilines as starting materials. The products were obtained in higher yields with "one-pot" synthesis method. For both methods, the yields had closed relationship with the substituents on the phenyl group connected with the nitrogen atom.. OCH3 > CH3 > H > Cl. But, the "one-pot"process was much simpler, cost less solvent and produced less waste than the fractional step method, and is very efficient and practicable for the synthesis of substituted aminomethylphenols. The structures of the products were characterized by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR.
