摘要

Abstract

In order to solve subgrade settlement and deformation in permafrost areas and prevent further settlement of permafrost table, active protection of frozen soil with gravel subgrade is a new popular measure at present.Relying on the test engineering parallel to Qinghai-Tibet Highway, the temperature inside subgrade is monitored dynamically.Temperature changes inside common subgrade and gravel subgrade are separately analyzed based on site measured results to show the cooling effect of gravel subgrade.It is indicated that gravel subgrade has a certain cooling effect, applicable for permafrost area.
