摘要

Abstract

A dual mode control method of brushless DC motor(BLDCM) either with position sensor or sensorless was presented. The controller worked with position sensor under normal condition, but it would switch to the sensorless mode automatically once the position sensor was broken down or the signal wire got disconnected. The mode transition technology and sensorless rator position detecting technology were mainly discussed. Under the sensorless mode, by using short pulse test method based on the magnetic saturation effect of the stator iron and the maximum probability method, the position of the rator still or at low speed could be located. By using the back EMF zero-crossing point detecting method, the rator' s position could be located at higher speed.
