Abstract
Objective:To compare the clinical effects in restoring interdentally food impaction between metal inlay and immediately filling with composite resin. Method: 68 patients, 82 teeth were divided into two groups randomly, and they were treated by immediately filling with composite resin or inlay respectively. Edge suitability, interproximal contact, gingival and periodontal status, were compared after one year of following-up. Result: There was no statistical significance between immediately filling with inlay and composite resin in gingival and periodontal status and edge suitability. There was statistical significance in interproximal contact between the two groups. Conclusion: Inlay restoration is more efficient in treating interdentally food impaction.关键词
