摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate right ventricular systolic function in patients with systemic sclerosis ( SSc ) using real - time three - dimensional echocardiography ( RT - 3DE ) . Methods Two - dimensional echocardiogram and RT - 3DE were used to measure right ventricular end systolic volume ( RVESV ), right ventricular end diastolic volume ( RVEDV ) and right ventricular ejection fraction ( RVEF ) in 35 SSc patients ( SSc group ) and 30 healthy subjects ( control group ). Results No significant difference was noted in two - dimensional echocardiogram hetween groups SSc and control ( P ＞ 0. 05 ). RVEDV and RVESV by RT -3DE were higher in group SSc [ ( 88. 6 ± 10. 6 ) ml, ( 47. 5 ±9. 8 ) ml, respectively ] than in control group [ ( 66. 4± 12. 1 ) ml, ( 32. 7±5. 5 ) ml, respectively ], the difference was significant ( P ＜ 0. 01 ). RVEDV and RVESV by RT -3DE were higher in SSc with PAH group [ ( 88. 1 ±7. 4 ) ml, ( 50. 1 ±8. 3 ) ml ] than in SSc without PAH group [ ( 79. 1 ±9. 8 ) ml. ( 42. 3 ±6. 1 ) ml ], P ＜ 0. 01. Conclusion RT -3DE can evaluate right ventricular volume and function earlier and accurately.关键词
