Abstract
Experiment is a key segment of the undergraduate course “Concrete Structure”, and fully demonstrates the integration between theory and practice that is the typical characteristic of the course itself. The current experiment segment is mainly performed with illustrative and confirmatory tests. With the purpose of improving the existing state, a new mode of independent experimental teaching and learning for the course was proposed and practiced in the Department of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University. The new mode asks the students as the main body of the segment, all the test work would be accomplished independently by the students under necessary supervision. The content and the relevant implementation method of the new mode are both presented in this paper, as well as the summary of the teaching and learning results.关键词
