Abstract
Bandwidth of 10/350 μs direct lightning stroke current is from several Hz to 1 MHz, waveform distortion at low frequency section will occur when this current is measured by normal Rogowski coil due to its small self-inductance. In this study, a self-integral Rogowski coil with magnetic core was made. An experimental comparison with coaxial tube shunt was conducted on the platform of 10/350 μs impulse current generator. The results indicate that the self-inductance of the self-integral Rogowski coil is clearly enhanced, and its lower limit of frequency is extended because of the magnetic core. The theoretical bandwidth of the self-integral Rogowski coil is from 2.182 Hz to 2.924 MHz. 10/350 μs impulse current waveform below 82 kA can be measured exactly. The errors of rise time, real time and current amplitude are all below 2%.关键词
