Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the application of antimicrobial agents in perioperative patients with tumor in our hospital. METHODS: Perioperative application of antimicrobial agents in tumor patients in our hospital in 2009 was analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS: The percentage of antimicrobial agents in 833 perioperative patients was 100.00％. Single drug or two-drug combination were the most common way. 71.55％ of patients accepted drugs for prophylaxis in improper time. No additional drugs were used in all patients when the operation time surpassed 3 h. The average time of drug application after operation was 9.58 days. Hospital-acquired infection occurred in 3.96％ of patients. CONCLUSIONS:Several problems still exist in the application of antimicrobial agents in our hospital. Education and monitoring for rational use of antimicrobial agents need to be strengthened.关键词
