摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the bacteriostasis in vitro of extracts from Cottomrose Hibiscus roots. Methods The different solvents were adopted to extract Cottomrose Hibiscus roots. The bacteriostatic activities were tested by serial dilution method. Results The different extracts from Cottomrose Hibiscus roots had a certain inhibiting effects on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus epidermidis. Conclusion The antibacterial activity of the extract ethyl acetate (Et0Ac) from Cottomrose Hibiscus roots is most powerful.关键词
