Expression of VEGF-C and FLT-4 in Colorectal Carcinoma and Correlation with Tumor Metastasis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression in colorectal adenocarcinoma of the relationship between the lymph node metastases, and to provide support for whether lymphatic cleaning and to postoperative chemotherapy should be done to patients.Methods The colorectal adenocarcinoma foci adjacent tissues and normal colorectal mucosa specimens were Collected and detected them respectively with PV9000 2-step immunohistochemical staining and HE staining : VEGF-C expression levels : the expression of VEGF-C in the primary foci of colorectal carcinoma, adjacent tissues and the normal group; the numbers of lymphatic in paraneoplastic group and normal group; and the relation between these two things and the lymphatic metastasis of colorectal adenocarcinoma and clinical pathological features was analyzed.Results The expressions of VEGF-C in colorectal adenocarcinoma foci, paraneoplastic group and the normal group are significantly different.The expressions of FLT-4 in paraneoplastic group and normal groups are strikingly different.The positive rate of the VEGF-C immunohistochemistry pigmentation and the number of FLT-4 masculine pigmentated vessels are quite different in the 0-Ⅱ and Ⅲ- Ⅳ periods in the TNM division.Conclusion To jointly detect the expression of VEGF-C and FLT-4 in the colorectal adenocarcinoma foci and paraneoplastic group of colorectal adenocarcinoma is quite valuable in the prediction of the lymphatic metastasis in human being ' s colorectal adenocarcinoma.The joint detection can be used as prediction index to the lymphatic metastasis in human being' s colorectal adenocarcinoma and it is with great reference value especially to the treatment of the patients in clinical Dukes B period.关键词
